  Traveling around Japan and was booked to stay at accommodation in Osaka. Arrived at the address listed in our itinerary and found an apartment building. Contacted the 24 hour help desk and it took nearly 4 hours of pleading with them to try and find out where our accommodation was. It was 3 in the morning when we gave up and booked a room at the Hilton as it was the only hotel with any spare rooms.

  I wanted direct flights for my family for a trip to New York Las Vegas and LA for 6 people , all direct flights. I had some disapointment from another agent and was expecting to pay a premium for the flights.

  The next morning and a $400 bill later we got an email directing us to a $40 a night air BnB,, not our $120 a night hotel. Three weeks on and STA still cant explain what happened and they cant even provide the name and cost of the air BnB we ultimately stayed at, we had to find that by looking ourselves on Google
